A frequently asked question that I've been given is "What do each of the packs represent?" or, "What are the pack's traits?". The seven packs, ☪ Cassius, ☂ Nymph, ❦ Nemus, ● Atrox, ☀ Aquila, ❄ Nix, Ѽ Subtilis, ♨ loner, and ღ realistic, are all completely different in comparison of their personalities, along with their territories. Here are their descriptions in my point of view, along with their pack alphas.
Whew, that was a lot of typing for poor Winterlocks! I hope this helped you as you're working on a new character~! <33
- ☪ Cassius - one alpha - Loki - Cassius is often taunted and considered the "dark" and emotional pack of them all. Of course, this is and isn't true. The Cassius pack is a strong, non-merciful, and almost heartless pack with their threatening ways and skilled techniques when fighting. But this is just a way of them showing their survival tactics. As a leader of this pack, their motto must be somewhere close to "eat or be eaten," or "every man for himself".
- ☂ Nymph - no alphas - Nymph takes place in many wetlands, considering their given territories are the Raindrop Valley, Rocky River Falls, and the Great Waterfalls. The canines of their pack always have different personalities, considering there is no specific personality in liquid, right? All I can really imply is that the warriors there are fierce but kind.
- ❦ Nemus - no alphas - Nemus's territory is filled with different plants, having forests and swamps as their personal area. Nemus characters are often considerate of others and their surroundings and have strong minds, along with their muscles. From afar they seem as quite a friendly easy-targeted pack.
However, they are working those shopping trolleys from up close and are making those muscles pop! - ● Atrox - no alphas - Atrox canines are anonymous and mysterious as they lurk in their many different territories. But behind this complex mask, they're actually outstandingly intelligent and could even work their way out of a harmful cataclysm on their own. They find it best not to speak of anything, and are equal, fair and polite little ditties. A masculine character can also be found there at Atrox's territory. Their icons should of been yin-yang.
- ☀ Aquila - no alphas - Like the Atrox canines, these brilliant warriors are as intelligent as ever. However, they have an awfully odd interest among their people; space. Aquila canines find great interest in the suns, stars, moons and planets and are pleased when they align altogether. Needles to say, one of their territories have a crater in them if I am correct! Besides this, Aquila canines are awfully masculine.
- ❄ Nix - no alphas - As it's name and icon implies, the Nix pack is a cold, quiet and anti-social group. They weren't naturally like this, considering their pack territories are too cold to even open your mouth. Characters of Nix must have thick, heavy coats and muscles to survive this unbearable cold. Nix canines are often misunderstood, as many other canines think of them as rude, not talking as much as they should. But they're actually incredible warm-hearted, you see.
- Ѽ Subtilis - no alphas - The Subtilis pack is full of agriculture, as their territories hold many different fruit and plants not exactly from one area of the fantasy gate. Subtilis canines are no doubt to be kind to one another, but are agile and stealthy
from all of those delicious, mouth-watering fruits. Due to this, many canines from other packs are found trying to get their paws on one of those fruits. But it's best not to interfere and tangle with these canines, for they have the most unique mutations and are highly skilled. - ♨ loner - no leader - Loners, as their name implies, are simply loners. Either they have no intention of joining a pack whatsoever and wish to roam freely, or they have been exiled from their previous pack. Due to this, many pack canines choose to avoid the gaze of loners, making loners quite edgy and hostile. But who am I to say? There may be a unique loner roaming around merrily right now.
- ღ realistic - no leader - Realistic canines are those who reside in the non-fiction gate. Many rarely know of the Divide and it's leading to the fantasy gates, but those who do are no doubt to be vital and intelligent. During times of cataclysms in the fantasy gates, any canine that knows of a realistic is bound to be the hero of the day. But there is a cost: If you travel through the Divide too often, it will tele-port you to another realm or gate. One unknown.
- ▼ Breath-takers - no gods - Breath-takers are mystic creatures that bound across thin air as their light trails after them slowly. However their light can only be a light blue, pastel red or a pale green. Having a breath-taker in your presence during the night will illuminate your surroundings, as well as anywhere else that is dark. Breath-takers are often known as 'those who lighten your path', but unfortunately have gods instead of leaders or alphas. They are mostly found in the Castaway Forest and come in other animals, and not only canines and wolves. Any selected staff may be breath-takers, considering we wish to have them kick in suddenly and not plotted to make your experience in TLI fun.
