Once again, a warm welcome to all new members and to another thread and article of rules, and I promise that this is the last one! If you are looking for a specific type of rule and have been a member on here for a long while, you can look at other threads on rules instead. Unlike in the Thread of Articles I, this article is made for role-playing threads. You are expected to comply with these rules, so listen closely! Starting from today, August, 9th. 2013, these rules are will not be passed by unobserved or unseen.
To start off, please use the forms given for the character creation. They are made for a reason, therefore you cannot begin role-playing before your character is officially accepted by a staff member. Sure, you're thrilled to start role-playing - But we must check the contents of your character in case of any unwanted materials in there before we can let you do any of that stuff. If you're not exactly sure what errors we're looking for in a character form, please continue reading.
Once again, this is another thread of rules.. Except unlike the previous article that discussed rules about the forum, this one's about role-playing areas. Like the Cherry Blossom Coppice, Forest of Hunters', and Poppy Fields, these are lands that cannot be claimed for pack territories.
They are open to all characters, depending which gate your character is currently in. How can you tell? Boards in A Spoon of Sugar Sweetens up reside in the non-fiction gates/realm, and Where they're Pleasantly Strange lies within the fantasy realm/gates. You can travel to one another gate with the help of The Divide. Of course, you don't have to post a thread here in order to post in the opposite gate you're in. The Divide is simply a place where you can meet up with other characters, and maybe storm up a nice little thread. ^.^
If you're wondering about which role-play areas are claimed for packs, you can find that in the Pack Information board. Any questions? Please don't hesitate and be afraid to ask! Simply click HERE to post a thread about a question that you have. A frequently asked question among both guests and users is, "Which pack territories are in the fantasy gate, and which are in the realistic gate?" Instead of putting this is the Questions board, I thought more people would bother to read about that here than in the Questions board.

- No exceeding powers - Characters with starter powers that appear or seem to have a 'too powerful' ability will have to be declined, unfortunately. If used through role-play, this may become a problem. Starter powers like being able to decease other characters with one hit, healing others by just looking at the wounded, and more are clearly forbidden.
- Be realistic - Although The Last Inverno is a fantasy role-play, it doesn't necessarily mean characters have been granted the ability to do the impossible; we hope you're fine with this! Available character species are domestic dogs and wolves, which means they cannot cry with liquid tears, or do any of the sort.. Unless it's your character's starter power. That's a different story.
- Use the word counter - If you haven't noticed, there's a quiet and happy little word counter down under the chat-box. Use him when you're working on a character form or role-play, for there is a minimum amount of words per in character thread (psst, he doesn't bite)! You absolutely MUST have at the least, or more than the number of words asked for. You can have about 10 words off, and you're off the hook.
- Don't get too far fetched - This is something not too many role-players need to keep in mind, just a few. By don't get too far fetched, I hope to see a tale that isn't too dark, emotional, sad or dramatic. It's mighty fine having a story that's dark, emotional, sad and dramatic altogether, just don't over do it!
